After having completed her Bachelorʼs degree at Toho Gakuen College, Mika Yamamoto began a Masterʼs degree studying with Pr. Wolfgang Manz at the Music Conservatory in Nuremberg. Over the course of these studies, she found herself playing chamber music regularly, and became convinced that this be her artistic calling. Playing duos, trios, quartets, and in all other possible formations, she was awarded numerous prizes at national and international competitions, among others the Steinway scholarship, “Ishikawa International Piano Competition“, and the International Duo Competition “Suzana Szörenyi”.

She graduated with a Masterʼs degree receiving highest honours, completed a post-graduate Masterclass diploma, and participated in an Erasmus exchange at the Vienna University for Music and Performing Arts, studying with Pr. Michael Krist, as well as participating in intensive courses with Jacques Rouvier, Rolf Plagge, Konrad Elser, Eberhard Feltz, Günter Pichler, Kuss Quartet und the Cuarteto Casals.

The focus of Mika Yamamotoʼs artistic work lies in chamber music. With her ensemble ʻʻYugen Trioʼʼ she embarked upon another Masterʼs degree with Pr. Dirk Mommertz and Wen-Sinn Yang at the Music Conservatory of Munich. She concertizes regularly across Europe and in Japan, and has appeared on stage with Wen-Sinn Yang, Clara-Dent Bogányi, and members of the Bamberg Symphony.

She is currently on faculty as collaborative pianist at the Music Conservatory in Nuremberg.

The Japanese violinist Mariko Nishikawa has received numerous prizes at national and international competitions. Among other things, she is the winner of the second edition of “Concorso Music Arte“, which allowed her to play in Venice and Vicenza (Italy) as a soloist. She has also performed as a soloist with the Osaka Symphony Orchestra, the Southwest German Chamber Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra of the Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg and Freiburg.
Since 2018 Mariko Nishikawa plays with the “Yugen Trio” which has received several prizes in many prestigious competitions. Yugen Trio’s debut CD “Awaken” will be released on the Spanish label “Eudora Records”.
She graduated with her bachelor’s degree with Prof. Machie Oguri at the Soai University in Japan. In 2015 she partook in an academic exchange with the Music University of Freiburg with Professor Simone Zgraggen. Two years later she began her master’s studies with Prof. Daniel Gaede at the Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg. During the studies she was also assistant to Prof. Gaede. She received further important impulses from numerous renowned artists such as Zakhar Bron, Eberhard Feltz, Tibor Gyenge, Mark Gothoni, Günter Pichler, Rainer Schmidt, Maxim Vengerov, Cuarteto Casals and Quartuor Ébène.
Since 2021 she has been continuing her studies in the Konzertexamen at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg with Prof. Sebastian Hamann. After her two-year orchestra academy of the Staatskapelle Dresden, she has been engaged at the Dresdner Philharmonie on a temporary contract since August 2023.

Juan Maria Raso Llaras is a cellist dedicated to Chamber music and whose talent and dedication led him to meet the greatest musicians in Europe.

In his early period of studies he recorded the Variations of an “Slovak theme“ from Bohulsav Martinu and won the scholarship competition “Ibercaja“. His great interest in playing in a small ensemble, and with the support of the “Quiroga Quartett“ he joined the Klimt Quartet with whom he has received several prizes for example: “80 Concurso juventudes Musicales de España“ or “El Primer Palau” 2014 among others.

After his cello studies in Spain with Alfredo García and Fernando Arias, he moved to Berlin in order to work intensely in the field of chamber music with Eberhard Feltz. With this rich experience and his desire for improving his skills he began his Masters in Cello in Nürnberg and with the support of Markus Wagner, Wenn Sinn Yang and Dirk Mommertz, finished his degree with honours. 

Within this period he received the “Daad Preis” and became finalist in the competition
“Eva Pirazzi Stiftung”.

Looking for a new way of playing he received baroque lessons from Jan Kunkel, Amandine Beyer and Oliver Fourés. The influence of renowned musicians such as Eberhard Feltz, Cuarteto Casals and Eckart Runge helped him improve his skills in the field of chamber music. 

Since 2018 Juan Raso plays with the “Yugen Trio” which has received several international prizes and with which he regularly gives concerts in Japan and Germany.

 Presently he combines this activity with his work in teaching.
